Introduction
Flybrain is the first launchpad where every coin is run by fly brain neurons. You create the coin. The brain runs it.
On a normal launchpad, a dev decides when supply moves, when tokens get burned and when the coin buys back. On Flybrain, nobody does. Each coin is wired to its own copy of the Drosophila (fruit fly) connectome, a 139,255-neuron map of a real fly brain.
Trades→Senses→Brain→SupplyBurnBuyback
Trades on the coin become signals in the brain. Those signals ripple through the neurons. When one of three motor neurons fires, the coin takes that action.
In one lineTrades go in, the brain decides, the coin acts. No dev hands on the controls.
Where to go next
Getting started
Quickstart
Create a coin wired to a fly brain in under a minute.
- Connect a wallet. Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. Press Connect in the top bar.
- Open Create coin. From the sidebar, the top bar or the + button on mobile.
- Fill in your coin. Image, name and ticker are required. Description and links are optional.
- Pick what the brain controls. Supply, Burn and Buyback are all on by default. Keep at least one.
- Choose a temper. Calm, Balanced or Feral sets how easily the brain fires.
- Set your dev buy in SOL. The minimum is 0.01.
- Press Launch coin and approve it in your wallet. The coin goes live on pump.fun.
Watch it thinkWhile you type, your coin's brain is already firing in the panel next to the form. Typing stimulates it.
The brain
The fly connectome
A connectome is a complete wiring map of a brain: every neuron and every connection between them.
Flybrain uses the connectome of Drosophila melanogaster, the fruit fly: 139,255 neurons. It is the first complete map of an adult animal brain, and it is what every Flybrain coin thinks with.
The parts that matter for a coin
Optic lobesWhere the brain senses the market. Trades arrive here.
Central brainWhere signals meet and spread. This is where decisions form.
Nerve cordCarries the decision out to the motor neurons.
Motor neuronsThree outputs: Supply, Burn and Buyback. When one fires, the coin acts.
How a neuron fires
Every neuron holds a charge. Incoming signals push the charge up and it leaks away over time. When it crosses a threshold the neuron spikes, passes the signal to the neurons it connects to, and resets. Chains of spikes are how a signal travels from the senses to the motor neurons.
Neurons also fire on their own now and then. That background activity is why a coin's brain is never fully silent, even with no trades.
The brain
Senses (inputs)
A coin's brain senses its own market. Every trade is turned into stimulation of its sensory neurons.
A buyStimulates the left optic lobe.
A sellStimulates the right optic lobe.
A new holderStimulates both lobes.
Trade sizeBigger trades send stronger signals.
The brain does not get a number like "price went up 12%". It gets spikes, the same way a fly gets light hitting its eyes. What happens next depends on how those spikes travel through the wiring.
No shortcutsThere is no rule like "if price drops, buy back". The brain is not programmed with trading logic. It reacts.
The brain
Motor neurons (outputs)
Each coin has three motor neurons. Each one is wired to a single action.
SupplyWhen the Supply neuron fires, new supply is released.
BurnWhen the Burn neuron fires, tokens are burned.
BuybackWhen the Buyback neuron fires, the coin buys back from the market.
Turning outputs off
At creation you choose which outputs the brain controls. A switched-off output is disconnected: it can't fire and its action never runs. At least one output has to stay on.
How often they fire
That depends on the coin's market and its temper. A busy market means more stimulation, which means more spikes reaching the motor neurons. Each coin page shows every output's fire rate in real time.
The brain
Temper
Temper sets how excitable a coin's brain is. It is picked once, at creation.
CalmFires the least. Signals fade before they spread far. Fewer, rarer actions.
BalancedThe default. A middle ground between quiet and wild.
FeralFires the most. Signals spread easily and the brain acts often.
Temper changes two things: how often neurons fire on their own, and how likely a spike is to pass on to the next neuron. The wiring itself stays the same.
The brain
Brain IDs
Every coin's brain has an ID like Brain #7E28.
The ID is generated from the coin's ticker, and so is the exact layout of its brain. Two different tickers get two different brains. You can see your coin's brain and its ID on the create page before you launch, and it changes as you type the ticker.
Try itOpen Create coin and type a ticker. The brain rewires itself and the ID changes with every letter.
Coins
Creating a coin
Everything on the create form, and what it does.
ImageRequired. PNG, JPG, GIF or WEBP, up to 5 MB.
NameRequired. Up to 32 characters.
TickerRequired. Up to 10 letters and numbers. Also sets the brain's wiring.
DescriptionOptional. Up to 280 characters.
Website, X, TelegramOptional links shown on the coin page.
Brain controlsWhich of Supply, Burn and Buyback the brain runs. At least one.
TemperCalm, Balanced or Feral.
Dev buySOL you buy in with at launch. Minimum 0.01.
When you press Launch coin, the coin's details are uploaded and your wallet asks you to approve one transaction. That transaction creates the coin on pump.fun and makes your dev buy. See Wallets & signing.
Coins
Coin lifecycle
Every brain coin moves through the same stages. The board's tabs follow them.
- New. The coin is created and its brain starts firing straight away.
- Trending. Coins with the most activity right now, which also means the busiest brains.
- About to bond. Coins close to filling their bonding curve.
- Bonded. The curve is full and the coin trades on the open market. The brain keeps running.
The brain never switches off. Bonding changes where the coin trades, not who controls it.

Reading a brain
What you are looking at in a brain panel.
Purple dotsSensory neurons in the optic lobes, on the left and right.
Blue dotsCentral brain neurons.
White flashesA neuron spiking.
Lines lighting upA signal passing between neurons.
Three ringsThe motor neurons: Supply, Burn and Buyback, glowing when they fire.
Spikes / sAll spikes across the brain in the last second.
Fires / sHow often each motor neuron fired in the last second.
You can touch or hover any brain panel to stimulate it yourself and watch the signal spread.

Wallets & signing
Flybrain works with Phantom, Solflare and Backpack.
If more than one is installed, Connect lets you pick. Once connected you can copy your address or disconnect from the same button.
What you approve
Launching a coin asks your wallet to approve a single transaction. It does two things:
- Creates the coin on pump.fun with your name, ticker, image and links.
- Makes your dev buy of the amount you set, at least 0.01 SOL.
Once it confirms you get the coin's CA, a link to it on pump.fun and a link to the transaction.
Check before you approveAlways read the transaction in your wallet. Flybrain will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
